Don't you hate when sometimes the real worlds gets in the way of sports. I mean, sports is the way we escape from the real world, so if you can't escape and have only the real world to deal with, your in trouble.
Another form of escape is taking a long well-deserved vacation. I've been in this business in a serious way for quite some time, sending selections every day and writing a daily blog. Even when on vacation, whether travels have taken me to the Great White North or to the sunny Caribbean, I have maintained my capping and consulting service.
Well the logistics of this next trip of mine make that damn near impossible. I'm off to Italy for three weeks touring the various regions of that country; essentially eating and drinking my way through Italy. As such, doing the type of analysis that is required to steadily win in MLB is simply not possible. That leaves me with two choices: i) continue to send out selections while doing a half-assed job of analyzing or ii) take a break. I've chosen the latter. As it is, being up close to $6 Large is good, but not nearly as good as it was last season. I'm not about to tamper with that.
I have sent out an e-mail two-weeks ago to my loyal subscribers so everyone is aware. Not everyone is happy, but I'm telling you, this is far better than me sending picks to you that I simply haven't spent the appropriate time working on. I have given everyone the option of a refund and so far, thankfully, you have all been understanding. I thank you for that.
So, everyone, enjoy the real All-Star break that's coming up, enjoy the Long Weekend and take a break yourselves; it'll pay itself back in spades.
See you July 22nd,
Kelly
